About Me - My teaching Style

My teaching style is very traditional and gentle. I believe that Yoga should feel safe and accessible to everyone who attends my classes. Most of my classes are structured as "All Levels" and are ongoing. This means that ANYONE can join at Any time. I taylor the poses to the bodies that attend. This means that if you are looking for an ultra-challenging, aerobic class, you are in the wrong place. My classes are geared mostly toward the average person. The type that doesn't go to fitness centers, and wouldn't be comfortable in a Yoga Studio. The kind of person who is just starting out with Yoga, and maybe is looking more for a little stress relief, or has a specific health issue.

We practice traditional poses, breathing, relaxation, and meditation. My approach is very down to earth. There is no chanting (by us) or long scary words. I use english translations for the names of the majority of the poses, and use very few sanskrit terms.

My goal is to make you feel safe, and relaxed in an atmosphere where you can be comfortable to explore your mind, body, spirit connection. This is your experience, I am merely your guide.
